The Company Dissolution Process
Last Updated: 16/01/2024
A Company Dissolution is the process of “striking off” a limited company. This means that the company ceases to exist and can no longer trade as a limited company.
To dissolve a limited company requires completing and filing a DS01 form with Companies House.
Dissolution requests are advertised in different editions of The Gazette depending on the company’s location. Once published, if no objections are raised the dissolution normally takes place within 3-4 months.
