Company Director
A Company Director is a person appointed by the members to run the company well on their behalf. Sometimes the company director and members may be the same person / people.
A person cannot be a UK Limited company director if:
1. They are an undischarged bankrupt or has been disqualified by a UK court from being a director of a company.
2. There is not a minimum age requirement that a person has to satisfy to be a director. The person in question must be willing and know what they are taking on when applying to be a director.
If a young person is considering applying for a director position they should obtain some counsel from an appropriately qualified person before agreeing to act.
