All UK companies that are formed online, either with a company formation agent like us or directly with Companies House, are automatically assigned a 6 alphanumeric code called the WebFiling Authentication Code. This code allows anyone who holds it to make online updates and changes to the company. But what if you’ve misplaced your code?

When appointing a director for a limited company you will have to provide a service address. In this post we’re going to explain what the service address is, the difference between the service address and the registered office, and how to go about changing the service address.

After forming a UK limited company you may notice that you start receiving mail at your registered office.
